  • Rev. Dalon Chin, a native of San Francisco, California, trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of 10. After earning his undergraduate business degree at San Francisco State University, he thought for a time about becoming a filmmaker. After years of working in the business field and serving in youth and college ministries at Sunset Church in San Francisco, he discerned God’s call to full-time, vocational ministry. He graduated with a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2000 with an emphasis on pastoral leadership. Prior to coming to MBC, he served as pastor of youth and English-speaking adult ministries in San Diego over a 20-year period, first at Chinese Bible Church, then Glory Christian Church. He has a particular passion for discipleship, the Gospel-driven life, God-centered families, and teaching the Bible. He wants to see people of all backgrounds redeemed in Christ, demonstrate His love, reflect His glory in their lives and equipped to make disciples of Christ. Pastor Dalon is married to Eva, a registered dietitian, and has two young adult daughters, Lindsay and Erin. He enjoys spending time with his family and their golden retriever, Jordy, reading, collecting books, watching movies, football, and following his San Francisco sports teams.

  • Chris was born and raised in San Francisco and has called Millbrae her home for many years. She started attending MBC 20+ years ago when she, her husband and their 3 children wanted to attend a local church. She immersed herself in different ministries while her children attended children’s Sunday School and fellowship groups. Her many years volunteering in her children’s schools and her accounting and marketing degrees have benefitted her in her job as MBC’s Office Administrator where she was formally hired in 2011. Chris first trusted Jesus as her Savior after hearing about the Gospel from her Junior High School church leader. She continues to be involved in different ministries at church and volunteers locally in the community. She loves Jesus, her family, her dog, traveling, ice cream, drinking tea and crafting.

  • Deedee is passionate about helping others encounter God and His story and choose to live in the light of it. She earned a Masters in Christian Ministry in 2021 and is completing an M.Div. Before entering vocational ministry, Deedee worked in her childhood dream job as a teacher. She’s a proud Canadian but can't imagine trading California warmth for Alberta winters. Deedee is married to her rad scientist Dale, and they have two daughters. They moved to the Bay Area in 2018 and have been part of MBC since 2019. She’s currently reading at least three books and not-so-secretly dreams of publishing something one day. Dessert is her favorite meal, circuit training is a hobby, and K-dramas are her weakness. She loves morning coffee, spending time with her family, theological conversations, and fresh baked goods.
