What is Operation Christmas Child (OCC)?

Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has partnered with local churches around the world to deliver 157 million Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts to children in need in 160 countries. Each one—packed full of fun toys, school supplies, and hygiene items by a family or individual—is sent with prayer that the child who receives it will experience God’s love through their simple gifts. Praise God for so many children whose lives have been transformed because of a simple gift!

Shoppers Needed

Would you prayerfully consider being a shopper and bargain hunter this year to help purchase the remaining items on our list for Packing Party? At our Packing Parties in November, we joyously fill these boxes with with toys, school supplies, hygiene and other items. Any amount helps to reach our goal of 200 shoeboxes to spread the gospel to needy children in the world.

Packing Party

September 29th, after service

We've been collecting and purchasing items throughout the year in preparation for our big packing party. Join us as we pack and pray for our shoeboxes!

How you can help:

  • Help us meet our goal of packing 200 boxes!

  • Bring $10 for each box you pack to help cover shipping costs.

*We will have a pizza lunch right after service and before we start packing!

Wednesday, 9/25 & Thursday, 9/26 (6-9pm)

We're in need of some help for our Packing Party to run smoothly!

We're asking for volunteers to help us sort and organize various items for the packing party. Join us at MBC to help sort all the toys, school supplies and hygiene products we'll be preparing to pack. We will have a great time of fellowship and an opportunity to serve the Lord!
